Marshfield Woman Charged in Fatal Stabbing of Her Husband

A Marshfield woman is expected to be arraigned Friday morning after police say she fatally stabbed her husband in their home.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says 46-year-old Christine Ricci is charged with the murder of her husband, 51-year-old Michael Ricci.
Cruz and Marshfield Police Chief Phil Tavares say police responded to a medical emergency at a home Thursday evening.
A male victim was located suffering from stab wounds at 679 Moraine Street. The man, later identified as Michael Ricci, was transported to South Shore Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Following an investigation with the State Police, detectives charged Christine Ricci with one count of Murder. An arraignment is scheduled to take place today in Plymouth District Court.
