Two people were hospitalized following a crash in Norwell on Thursday.
Fire Chief Jeff Simpson tells WATD News that a serious head on collision took place on Route 53 in front of 81 Washington St.
Crews arrived on scene to find heavy entrapment of a male driver in one of the vehicles and used the Jaws of Life and the Rescue Ram to free him.
He was then transported to South Shore Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle was also transported to South Shore Hospital but they were said to have minor injuries.
