Officers from numerous towns responded to help Hull police locate and arrest a suspect.
Police Chief John Dunn says 29-year-old Joel Musipli, of Boston, was arrested after a chase on foot. Around 9 a.m. Saturday, police responded to Harborview Road for a report of a suspicious male wearing a dark hoodie and a mask.
Officers located Musipli, who brandished a hammer before he took off running. During the chase, police said he threw rocks at them. Police from Hingham, Cohasset, and Scituate were called in to assist with the search.
Musipli was arrested without further incident. He’s facing charges that include breaking and entering during the daytime with intent to commit a felony, assault with a dangerous weapon, and possession of burglarious tools. He’ll be arraigned at Hingham District Court on Monday.
