A Brockton man is facing charges in connection with three separate motor vehicle fires.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office says that on January 22 a Plymouth County grand jury returned indictments charging 38-year-old Obieze Bobby Uchendu with three counts of Burning a Motor Vehicle and one count of Burning of a Dwelling.
The indictments are the result of an investigation which found that between October 4, 2020 and October 8, 2020, three separate motor vehicle fires were reported in Brockton within close proximity of one another.
It was also determined that all the fires were intentionally set and evidence was obtained that placed Uchendu at the scene of all three fires.
Unchendu was placed under arrest on October 15 and he will be arraigned in Brockton Superior Court at a later date.
