Crews were called to the scene after a truck went into the water in Halifax on Tuesday.
Fire Chief Jason Viveiros tells WATD News road conditions played a role in the crash.
Viveiros says the driver was out of the vehicle by the time first responders arrived.
A tow company was called and they were able to get the truck out of the water with the help of firefighters.
