Crews in Halifax responded to a two-alarm fire Sunday afternoon.
Fire officials say they received a report of a chimney fire at 20 Buttonwood Rd. that had extended.
The second alarm was requested after visible flames were reported.
No injuries were reported and it’s believed the fire was caused by a pipe behind a wood stove.
At the same time crews were also responded to a motor vehicle crash, no injuries were reported in that incident either.
During the fire, dispatch received an additional call regarding a possible water rescue. But officials say that was unfounded.
Pembroke, Kingston, Hanson, Duxbury and Plympton provided mutual aid.
