****HAPPY UPDATE: NINA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!! 4.8.21
Nine year old Nina is a very good girl. This loving, cuddly dog has been looking for a home for over a year, which is no fault of her own. Nina has a big voice at times to tell you what she wants! She can sense toys from a mile away and will demand you play with her (that is until she completely pulls out all the stuffing!).
Nina is housebroken and loves the outdoors. Our friends at the Scituate Animal Shelter tell us she is a super strong lady, so her new home needs to be up for walking a very strong dog. With some continued training Nina will learn better leash manners and wouldn’t pull as much.
Nina loves people. Her ideal home would be with children over the age of 10, as Nina is so strong she needs to be around people who can handle themselves. Although she has no aggression, she can be a bit mouthy with play. Nina may be ok living with a large male dog. She would not be good living with smaller dogs or cats.
Help us get this sweet, loving girl into a great home soon! Nina has been waiting so long and she really can’t for a place to call her own.
If you think you might be a good fit for her, you can email adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org for more info!
The adoption fee for Nina has been waived.
