Halifax Animal Control responds to two separate lakes to rescue two swans.
WATD’s Amy Leonard has more:
On February 13th Halifax Police received several calls about a swan in distress.
After some investigations, it turned out to be two separate swans at each of the twin lakes, which they were able to gather and get them medical care.
After figuring out it was a mother and baby who had gotten separated, they were reunited at the New England Medical Center where they stayed for a week.
Yesterday (Monday 22nd) they were cleared to be returned to the wild and were released into west lake.
