Two men are facing charges following an incident at a Plympton store Sunday afternoon.
Carver Police say that at around 3:30 p.m. Plympton Police officers responded to Tractor Supply at 401 Main St. over a report that several customers were causing a disturbance and making threats.
When they arrived on scene they learned that the men involved had left, and were heading into Carver and one of the parties was armed with a large knife.
Carver Police spotted a truck matching the vehicle’s description travelling on Route 58 with three males inside.
They conducted a traffic stop and Plympton officers arrived to assist.
An investigation determined the three males were at Tractor Supply, one was armed with a large knife and the other two had firearms. They also had medication that didn’t belong to any of them.
No one was licensed to carry a gun.
Two of the suspects were arraigned Monday in Wareham District Court with 32-year-old Adam Lourenco of Taunton facing charges of Carrying a Firearm without a license; Possession of ammunition without an FID card; Possession of a large capacity firearm; Possession of a Class B substance – Oxycodone; and Possession of a Class B substance – Xanax.
The other suspect, 31-year-old Nicholas Bellefeuille of Middleborough, was charged with Carrying a firearm without a license; Possession of ammunition without an FID card; Carrying a Dangerous weapon – Brass knuckles; Possession of Class B substance – Oxycodone; Possession of Class B substance – Xanax.
Both men were released on $1,000 bail.
The third suspect will be summonsed to court on criminal charges by the Plympton Police.
