Driver Cited For Texting In West Bridgewater Crash

Texting is being cited as a factor in a two car crash in West Bridgewater.
West Bridgewater Police say that shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday they received multiple 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle accident on Pleasant St. with a caller describing it as a head on collision with airbag deployment.
Upon arrival officers were able to determine that one of the drivers was texting just before the accident and failed to stay within their marked lane.
The driver of the second vehicle, identified only as a West Bridgewater resident, was hit head on and later transported to a local hospital.
