17 years after a young Hanson woman disappeared after an accident on a Haverhill, New Hampshire road, her family is still working to find out what happened to her. Now, they’re also working to place a state highway historical marker by the tree where she was last seen.
Julie, Maura’s sister, says the marker is the same spot where a tree with a blue ribbon had been marking the spot, and that tree was recently cut down.
Murray says she and her family will continue to advocate for Maura.
