Roughly 75 veterans’ families were provided with food and other items yesterday as part of the Veterans Drive Thru outside the WATD Studios in Marshfield.
Among those filling up the cars and trucks was Quincy’s Director of Veterans’ Services George Nicholson.
Navy Veteran and Quincy resident Don DeCristofaro viewed this as a way to give back.
Army Veteran Peter Hood of Hull had a similar sentiment.
Others such as Jo Brochu, of the Christian Jeep Association, came from all the way from Sturbridge to take part.
While this event did take place on the South Shore organizer Gregg Brasso, who hosts Veterans’ Voice here on WATD, says those who came out for the Drive-Thru weren’t just from our region.
Another Food Drive-Thru is being planned for April 8 in Braintree at the Veterans Service Office.
