UPDATE: Active situation in Quincy is over. There is no threat to public. We will update with more information when appropriate.
Police activity ongoing on Burgin Parkway Quincy. Armed robbery suspect who stole a Rockland cruiser is stopped and refusing to get out the vehicle. MSP STOP Team and crisis negotiators on scene. Area is closed down to traffic/public at this time. Will update when appropriate.

Update at 9:55 AM: MBTA red line and commuter service has resummed.
MBTA on Twitter: Red Line service suspended between Braintree and Wollaston due to police activity outside of Quincy Adams as well as Kingston/Plymouth commuter rail service.
