Fatal Crash Causes Road Closure in Milton

One man has died following an early morning crash in Milton.
Police tell WATD News the single vehicle crash took place shortly before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Blue Hill Ave. and Canton Ave. when the car went off the road and struck two utility poles snapping them in half.
The driver, identified only as a 39-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The crash caused wires to fall down on the road and the area was closed off.
Police say the road was expected to reopen in the afternoon.
