Four Contested Races Decided in the Carver Annual Town Election

Four contested races were on the ballot for the Carver Annual Town Election.
With unofficial results, incumbents Sarah Hewins and Mark Townsend were re-elected to the Select Board.
Hewins had 763 votes, Townsend had 659 votes. Mary Dormer had 287 votes.
For School Committee, Colleen Zaniewski was elected to one open seat with 729 votes. Robert Harrington had 267 votes.
For North Carver Water Commissioner, Kevin Tracey was re-elected with 510 votes. Michael Palimeri had 385 votes.
For Library Trustees, Margaret Blackwell was re-elected with 642 votes. Marianne Macleod was re-elected with 599 votes. Erica Thompson had 343 votes.
Peter Sullivan was written-in to the Board of Assessors with 206 votes.
