The Duxbury Select Board met with residents armed with attorneys trying to fight the proposed betterments for replacing the seawall.

Duxbury resident Robyn Chiminiello is facing the largest betterment cost at just over $128,000 and hired Attorney John Danehy.
Duxbury Town Manager Rene Read scheduled a meeting this week with members of the sea wall committee and town council to discuss either adding more homes to the sea wall zone or having the town pick up a percentage.
Duxbury has until April 15th to submit the amount and percentage of the betterment to the state deed department.
