Hanson voters head to the polls Saturday to decide on one contested race and 2 ballot questions.
Two candidates, Michelle Bourgelas and Daniel Strautman are both vying for one seat on the Whitman-Hanson Regional School Committee.
One ballot question asks voters to approve a $1.85 million dollar override, to pay for funding various town departments, and to pay for the town’s assessed share of the fiscal year 2022 operating budget of the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District.
Also on the ballot, “should Hanson’s elected Tree Warden become an appointed position?”
Hanson’s polls are open from 10 am to 5 PM.
