Nymeria is a beautiful 1 year old Alaskan Malamute looking for her forever home!
According to our friends at the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts in Brockton, Nymeria needs to go home to an owner who has experience with malamutes. She is a big girl who needs a lot of basic obedience work and positive reinforcement training. Nymeria was brought to the shelter after getting in fights with the other dog in the home. She would need to be the only animal in the home where she can get all the attention! Dogs of this breed are sensitive and need plenty of companionship and open space. They are not well-suited to apartment life, and they are certainly high-shedding pups who need plenty of grooming to keep their coats healthy. Please contact the shelter if you are interested and an experienced malamute owner.
Please give the shelter a call at 508-586-2053 between 1:00 and 4:00 any day except Monday or Wednesday, or email info@apcsm.org to get more information about this pet and our adoption process. Please note – the shelter is closed to walk-through-traffic at this time. Meets are scheduled with an adopter after speaking with an adoption counselor, and an application has been approved for a particular animal.
