The State Police say a Dorchester man is facing rape charges after an incident on a ferry from Martha’s Vineyard.

After the ferry docked at Woods Hole, an 18-year-old woman reported a sexual assault to Falmouth police.

A suspect was later identified as 20-year-old Bruno Sanches Dejesus. It was reported that he left the dock as a passenger in a box truck.

Police located and stopped the vehicle on Route 28 in Falmouth. Following investigation, Dejesus was charged with two counts of rape.

He was held on $250,000 cash bail and will be arraigned today in Falmouth District Court.
