Most folks around here know about the Mayflower II, but perhaps aren’t as familiar with the Fuller Shallop.
Captain Whit Perry, Director of Maritime Preservation and Operations at Plimoth Patuxet Museums, provided a more detailed description of the vessel.
Perry tells WATD News the vessel will begin its journey to Plymouth Thursday while making a few stops along the way.
The Fuller Shallop is expected to arrive in Plymouth Harbor Saturday June 19.
The vessel first arrived in Plymouth in 1957.
