The Kingston Police Department says two people were taken into custody in relation a carjacking incident in town.
Sergeant Detective Michael Skowyra says the carjacking was reported around 2:30 this morning. The vehicle was located just after 10 a.m. near Hilltop Ave. and Second Brook Street – near the Kingston Elementary School. Two people were arrested without incident. Police do not believe the suspects entered the school. There is no threat to the public. The investigation remains ongoing. Stay tuned to WATD for more updates.
