Say hello to Vanson, a beautiful Torti looking for a quiet home with no other animals.
Eleven years ago she lived in a parking lot; every day she would see people going into a building so one day she followed one of the people in and decided to stay. The folks who worked there were wonderful people – she had food, a big space to wander around; her people would play with her, take care of her, and give her lots of love. They would be with her during the day, and at night they would leave, but always came back the next day. Vanson is now 13 and ready to retire. It’s time for a new home, not because the folks she is with no longer want her, but it gets lonely sometimes, especially nights and weekends.
Vanson would like to live in a home with all the comforts that come with one. Vanson is in good health and has had regular vet visits and vaccinations. She loves laser pointers, string toys and catnip. If you provide Vanson with a scratching post and/or a cardboard scratcher, she will use those and not your furniture. Vanson can be vocal at times; it could be to let you know you should pick her up or that she’d like some treats. She adores looking out the window, nestled on a soft blanket. Vanson hopes you’re not put off or think she’s demanding. Our friends at the Quincy Animal Shelter have learned a lot about Vanson so you can determine if she’s the perfect new addition to your home. Personally, she thinks you’ll love her. * Please email any questions to adoptions@quincyanimalshelter.org *
