Braintree, Marshfield, and Quincy Receive Substantial Portion of $17 million State Award

Governor Charlie Baker announced the state has awarded over $17 million dollars in funding for dams and coastal infrastructure projects.

Marshfield will receive $2,349,375 for Phase II of the Brant Rock Seawall repair, and $412,500 for design of the Ocean Bluff revetment.

Quincy will receive $2,982,285 for Manet Avenue and Babcock Street seawall improvements.

Braintree will receive $1,000,000 for the Armstrong Dam/Monatiquot River restoration.

The Wildlands Trust in Kingston will receive $729,600 for the Sylvia Place Pond Dam breach.

Hull will receive nearly $300,000 for permit and design for repair of the Harborview Road and Nantasket Ave. seawalls.

Weymouth will receive more than $102,980 for design of the Fort Point Road resilience project.

Brockton will receive $82,725 for Brett Pond Dam repairs. Wareham will receive $175,000 for the Parker Mills Dam.
