Father, 19-year-old Daughter Killed in Hanson Motorcycle Crash

A Halifax father and his 19-year-old daughter were killed after a motorcycle crash in Hanson.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office identified them as 58-year-old James Ripley and 19-year-old Jenna Ripley.
Hanson Police say Friday night, they responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 58 near Hill Road.
Officers located a motorcycle which had left the roadway and struck a pole. Jenna Ripley was pronounced dead at the scene.
James Ripley, the operator, was transported to Brockton Hospital, where he later died.
State Police and Hanson Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
