One Hospitalized After Being Struck In Buzzards Bay

One person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Buzzards Bay.
Bourne Police say that at approximately 8:30 a.m. Monday Officers responded to the area of 278 Main St. for a report of a person that was struck by a motor vehicle.
Upon arrival officers found a female with life-threatening injuries and she was transported to a regional hospital.
The vehicle and operator involved were remained at the scene.
The incident is being investigated with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police and Cape and Island’s District Attorney’s Office.
