Congressman Bill Keating says it is essential for the region’s safety that the station remain open.

 

The state’s Junior Senator Ed Markey told WATD News he has expressed his concerns to Coast Guard officials regarding the seasonal station.

 

Local officials recently held a rally calling for the seasonal station to remain open.
