Duxbury Fire Chief Kevin Nord and Kingston Police K9 Officer Mike La Natra joined WATD’s Christine James to detail their experiences in New York City after the 9/11 attacks.
In 2001, La Natra worked as a Brooklyn North Gang Squad Detective for the New York City Police Department.
Nord, a captain with the Kingston Fire Department at the time, responded to the scene 10 days later as part of the Plymouth County Critical Incident Stress Management Team.
