Duxbury High School held a ceremony Wednesday paying tribute to two Medal of Honor winners.
Lt. Col. William Swenson led his unit through an ambush while he was a U.S. Army Captain in Afghanistan in 2009.

Retired Army Capt. Florent Groberg, was injured while protecting his unit from a suicide attack in Afghanistan, he told the students they should always challenge themselves.
State Representative Josh Cutler joined his colleagues Rep. Kathy LaNatra and State Senator Patrick O’Connor on stage to present a citation to the two men.
Medal of Honor Recipients visited four other high schools including Plymouth North High School and Catholic Memorial High School.
They were then scheduled to gather at the Robert Gould Shaw and Massachusetts 54th Regiment Memorial in Boston to honor the nation’s first Black recipient of the Medal of Honor.
