In Plympton, one person had to be extricated from an overturned vehicle after a crash on Route 58.
Fire Captain John Sjostedt says they responded to the intersection of Palmer Road and Center Street around 2:30 yesterday afternoon.
The Jaws of Life were used to get the person out from the vehicle. The police department assisted with the rescue.
They were transported to South Shore Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. A driver of a second vehicle was evaluated, but they declined treatment.
