Hanover resident Emmanuel Dockter announced he is running as a Democratic candidate for State Representative in the 5th Plymouth District. He joined WATD to discuss his campaign.
The district currently includes Rockland, Norwell, and Hanover. In 2020, he ran against Republican incumbent Dave DeCoste, who has held the seat since 2015.
Dockter says he’s running to address the Fireworks site in Hanover, constituent services, and PFAS and water quality issues around the region.
