Meet Johnny! Sweet Johnny is an 8-month-old American Bulldog and Jack Russell Terrier mix puppy working hard on his confidence.
This very scared pup is nervous around new people and new situations and needs a patient home up for some training. Our friends at Scituate Animal Shelter tell us Johnny has been in two foster homes and after just a short amount of time, he does warm up!
Johnny is super smart and super treat motivated, which will work great for his future training! Once he knows you, he loves you with all his little puppy heart. But new people do scare him and Johnny will back away and may growl. He needs a home who understands this and will work on helping him feel more secure.
Johnny loves other dogs and we suspect a friendly, outgoing dog may be very beneficial in the home. Johnny has proven to be too playful for cats in a home. We are looking for an adult only home for Johnny because a busy home would be very overwhelming.
Johnny will be an excellent adult dog with some training, patience and endless love. This adorable puppy will be an excellent companion to someone looking for a bit of a project pup!
