Christine Milligan, a spokesperson for National Grid, says there has been power restoration to more than 300,000 customers in New England as of the latest update.
Milligan says the majority of customers can expect their power to be restored on Saturday morning.
She says the company has been working to refine estimates for total power restoration.
On the outage central map that’s posted online, that shows estimates for town-level restoration. That’s when the very last customer in that community can expect power to be restored.
A number of external crews are responding to assist with restoration efforts. There are over 2,647 field-based personnel, 471 line workers, and 260 forestry crews in Massachusetts.
People can report power outages at NationalGridUS.com or by calling 1-800-465-1212.
