Bobbi Clark has more…
The Attorney General, in her meeting with officials from the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers Association, said she’s interested in their concerns:
“Well, I’m here today to listen and to learn from these growers about some of the challenges they face, certainly Covid has been challenging for everyone. It’s so important to get vaccinated, to get your boosters.”
Healey said the cranberry growing industry has been the backbone…
“…for so many families and communities, we have a tremendous history and heritage. We’re proud of that as a state, and so part of me being here today is to learn how better to support those efforts.”
Climate change is an issue Healey is following:
“Climate plays out in every which way— I’m sure I want to hear more about the way in which it is impacting the cranberry growing industry.”
So, what about a run for Governor?
“It’s something I’m looking at and thinking about—but haven’t made a decision about.”
