Meet Brewster, a handsome 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who can’t seem to find his forever person.
Our friends at Quincy Animal Shelter tell us he used to have a family, but unfortunately his owner was in a situation where she couldn’t keep him. He was adopted after his surrender but he was too strong for that adopter. Brewster does pull on his leash but it can be managed with the right tools. Recently he had been in a loving foster, and although he was great with the bigger dog, he was triggered by the small dog in the home. So he is back at the shelter. Again. Brewster gets amped up around children so needs a home with people all over the age of 16. Bigger dogs might be ok. Although Brew loves seeing the shelter volunteers come in to walk him, he is getting very stressed in the kennel. “Kennel stress” is real and the folks at Quincy Animal Shelter are getting worried that being at the shelter for so long is taking its toll. Brewster is really a love bug who needs an adult or two to love him – a comfy couch is a plus, too. Are you looking for a 70 pound lap dog? Brewster is waiting for you!
