The Whale and Dolphin Conservation has joined the Greater Atlantic Regional Marine Mammal Stranding Network to help stranded seals, dolphins, whales, and porpoises.

Executive Director Regina Asmutis-Silvia and Stranding Coordinator Sarah McCormack spoke with WATD’s Christine James to discuss their efforts and how people can get involved.

If people find a stranded animal from Marshfield to Plymouth, they can call the response hotline at 617-688-6872, people can call the NOAA stranding hotline for locations from Maine to Virginia at 866-755-6622. More information can be found at Whales.org.
