A car was pulled from a Hanson pool Sunday night.
Fire Chief Jerome Thompson says the motor vehicle crash took place at the corner of E. Washington St. and Winter St. shortly before midnight.
Crews arrived on scene to find the car had left the roadway, crashed through the fence of an East Washington St. home and landed in a swimming pool in the backyard.
The driver, who was the only one in the car, was able to get out of the car and the pool before firefighters arrived they weren’t injured.
A rotator tow truck was called in to remove the car from the pool.
The incident remains under investigation by the Hanson Police Department.
