Fire Chief Ed Bradley tells WATD News that shortly before 3 a.m. Monday they got a call about a fire at 296 Court St.
Upon arrival crews saw a fire in a barrel that had caught the vinyl siding of the building.
The fire was quickly knocked down and no injuries were reported.
Bradley says the apparent cause was smoking materials that were discarded in the barrel.
Damage is estimated at around $55,000.
