WATD’s Christine James interviewed Marshfield Police Chief Phil Tavares to recap a busy year for the community.
Tavares says Marshfield is ranked by Neighborhood Scout as the 10th safest community in the United States for populations over 25,000. Marshfield has been ranked in the top 79 in the last eight years, and the top 14 in the last five years.
Tavares discusses the new police station project and a tribute to Danny Sheehan, an honorary member of the Police Department, and an eight-year-old who battled aggressive brain cancer for four years.
