Braintree Police say a 19-year-old man is wanted for murder after a shooting at the South Shore Plaza.
Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey and Braintree Police Chief Mark Dubois say Julius Hammond-Desir, of Maynard, is wanted in connection to the murder of 26-year-old Dijoun Beasley.
Morrisey said it’s alleged that Hammond-Desir fatally shot Beasley at close range at the Plaza on January 22nd. Hammond-Desir is described as 5’5” and of medium build. People are urged to call 9-1-1 if they see him.
A 27-year-old woman has been arraigned on charges in connection to the shooting.
Morrissey says Samantha Schwartz, of Attleboro, entered a not guilty plea to accessory-after-the-fact-of murder. She was arraigned in Quincy District Court. A probable cause hearing for Schwartz was scheduled for February 18th.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Braintree Police Detectives.
