Chris Doughty has launched his campaign as a Republican candidate for Governor.
The Wrentham businessman started Capstan Atlantic in 1992. The company says it is a leading producer of precision powdered metal gears, sprockets, and complex structural components.
He describes himself to WATD as a “Ronald Reagan Republican”, mixing humor and wit with fiscal conservatism.
A 59-year-old father of six, he wants to focus on making Massachusetts affordable for residents and businesses. A permanent goal of his is to hold the line on taxes.
