The board’s chair, Kathleen Conlon, says that Fagan, who has previously served in the role, has already taken steps to be prepared once her tenure begins.
She will replace outgoing Town Administrator Michael Dennehy, who told the board he will work with her to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Dennehy’s last day will be Friday as he leaves to take a job in the private sector.
