A standout will be hold on Sunday to protest potential plans by Holtec to release water from the now shutdown, Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station.
Diane Turco, of Cape Downwinders, tells WATD News a wide array of groups will be taking part.
Turco says such an action would have a devastating impact on the local region.
She also says that part of the goal is to also make people aware that state leaders can take action against Holtec if necessary.
The Halt Holtec standout will be taking place Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. at Plymouth Rock.
