Meet Milo. Milo is a senior puggle who is 14-years-old. This guy has been through a lot of change recently. He is looking for a calm home to help him feel more stable and loved.
Our friends at Scituate Animal Shelter tell us Milo is a good guy. It may take a bit of time for new people to earn his trust when it comes to petting, but he is sweet. We think an adult only home is best for this buddy. Although he previously lived with another dog, in his advanced years Milo needs to be the canine in the home. He is fine with cats, however.
Milo is used to being with his person a lot. His new person should be home more often than not. Milo will likely settle and get into a good routine with some patience. He will be taking a low dose anxiety medication that will cost about $10 every few months.
Milo is generally a really good guy. He just wants a cuddle buddy and someone to take him on walks. If you know the puggle mix, these guys stay young forever!
Adoptions are by appointment only. For more information on Milo, email adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org
All dogs are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and heartworm/Lyme tested before adoption. Milo’s adoption fee is $250.
