Thank you to our listener Geni for connecting us with a new-to-us organization called Animal Rescue Konnection. Animal Rescue Konnection works with people needing to re-home their dogs, shelters and animal control officers as well. Their speciality is working with dogs that are harder to place, those with behavioral issues and misunderstood pasts. Even though these pups have had a rough past, they believe they just need the right environment to thrive and they can be the best pup they can be. Animal Rescue Konnection has successfully re-homed hundreds of dogs, they work closely with many rescues needing assistance with a owner surrender and help place dogs in foster homes.

And a foster home is where we’ll meet Stella Mae. Stella is looking for a second chance at life! Stella was saved from a kill shelter and has since been decompressing in her foster home in Plymouth. She is a very sweet and active 5-year-old Pitt mix that would love to go on adventures with you. Stella loves meeting new people and greets them with a big smile and kisses. She is working on her socialization skills and meeting new dog friends on a regular basis now! Stella will need an experienced owner, as she did bite another dog previously. Animal Rescue Konnection believes this was fear based, and training and socialization has allowed her to begin to trust other dogs. Stella is an all-around great girl, she just wants to be by her person’s side. Please consider applying for this sweet girl if you are looking to add a member to your family.
