An investigation is underway following a fatal shooting incident in Quincy Tuesday night.
Quincy Police say that at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Taffrail Rd.
Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey says that upon arrival officers confirmed a shooting had taken place and located the victim.
Morrissey says the victim later died from his injuries.
Police Chief Paul Keenan says that, at this time, no suspects have been identified but a witness reported seeing multiple individuals fleeing the scene on foot.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
