Meet Priscilla (formerly called Shadow). Priscilla is an approximately 8 year old spayed female domestic shorthaired cat. Priscilla came to the Friends of the Marshfield Animal Shelter because her owner, unfortunately, passed away.
Priscilla is a beautiful kitty, but she comes with some quirks. Priscilla is not keen on being petted. She will react with scratches and occasional biting if a hand goes out to her. The Friends of the Marshfield Animal Shelter are unsure of her complete history, but she was a one person cat and has not been around other animals. They are looking for someone who has experience with cats and cat behavior who could give Priscilla a quiet home with lots of space to hide and roam as she pleases. Priscilla LOVES treats and will rub up against her cage and meow to get them! She definitely could exhibit better behavior in a home than what has been seen in the shelter, but it is hard to gauge exactly how she will be. Whilst out of her cage, one of the volunteers was able to pet her. Because of her behavior, Priscilla will need to be in a home with no children or other pets. She is up-to-date on her vaccines.
