Meet Dollie! Dollie is an almost 7-year-old female Yorkie who weighs around 7-8 lbs. Our friends at Yorkies Inc. tell us she’s a bit on the chunky side and could lose a little weight. They are still getting to know Dollie but they have been told she is a very easy-going pup who loves everyone and everything but she is afraid of thunder and fireworks. Right now she is still a little shy in her foster home, but they expect to be seeing her loving personality soon. Her previous owner would give her a calming paste during these times to calm her down. Dollie is pee pad trained and will potty outside if taken. She is used to going out in a fenced-in yard so she would need work walking on a leash. Her foster family has been placing her in a harness to have her get accustomed to it, but not out on a leash yet. Her new home would need to be willing to work on this if they want to take Dollie for walks. Dollie being the female that she is, is very concerned about her appearance and does not like it if she is shaved down too much, she becomes very upset by this and would prefer to be kept in a cute puppy cut!
