In Marshfield, Lynne Fidler was elected to the Select Board beating incumbent Chris Rohland.
“I’m actually a little surprised,” said Fidler. “This was my first time running, and I really want to make sure that everybody realizes that I’m here to support the town. It’s my ultimate goal, and I’m so excited to be here.”
With unofficial results, Fidler had 962 votes, Rohland had 851 votes, and Joe Pecevich had 281 votes.
“Chris has done a great job here, he’s left a great legacy,” Fidler added. “I am looking forward to working with the other board members and all the departments in town.”
For School Committee, incumbent Lara Brait topped the ballot with 1,567 votes.
“I’d just like to thank everyone who came out to vote for me today,” said Brait. “Go Rams!”
Rich Greer was re-elected to a fourth term with 1,269 votes.
“I’m looking forward to continue working with the same team. I think looking around the state, we have the best school committee,” said Greer. “Each one of us brings something different to the table, different experiences, different skill sets, and we work very, very well together.”
Eric Kelley had 682 votes.
For Board of Public Works, Bob Shaughnessy was re-elected with 1,171 votes. Eric Murphy had 772 votes.
