One Injured After Car Crashes Into Weymouth Home

One person was hospitalized after a car crashed into a Weymouth home.
Weymouth Police tell WATD News that at around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday they received a call from a homeowner at 455 Bridge St. saying that a car struck her home.
The driver fled the scene before officers arrived, but he was taken into custody before being transported to a hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
Police say the home sustained “significant damage” and a home inspector was called out to investigate.
Charges will be filed against the driver.
