The Pembroke Fire Department says there are no injuries after a two-alarm fire on High Ave. this afternoon.
Deputy Chief Mark Gassiraro says they responded to a home around 2 p.m.
A second alarm was struck for mutual aid to the fire. Halifax, Kingston, and Hanson were among responding towns.
Crews were on the other side of town responding to Luddam’s Ford Park to help an injured hiker. Acting Chief Jim Shea says an off-road vehicle was used to locate the person along the trails.
Shea says the injuries were non-life threatening.
